Elutions offers rugged wireless modems and routers that meet the performance and durability
requirements of users in demanding environments. Moisture resistant and
designed to function in extreme temperatures, the “iR” series modems (iR1200
and iR1600) and router (iRX) allow mobile workers to connect laptops, mobile data terminals, and
other mobile devices to Nextel's and Telus' networks for real-time
remote access to company databases and mission-critical data applications in
industrial and/or turbulent settings. Each
of the wireless products is available in a number of customer ready configurations.

The iRX offers a wireless data communication solution
featuring voice, encryption and routing capabilities.
The iRX wireless device enables clients to connect to the Internet or internal networks
(data, voice or video). The iRX is designed
with high-performance boards in a compact form factor that is ideal for
integration in a variety of solutions to provide, seamless mobility and
interoperability across multiple wireless networks. The device supports a
variety of local and remote I/O, as well as the capacity for protocol
conversions, encryption, and expandable local logging of data.

iR1600 Data Modem

An enhanced version of the iR1200 modem, the iR1600 includes an
embedded TCP/IP stack, alternate serial protocol conversion, store-and-forward
for GPS coordinates, I/O ports enabling controls and monitoring of field or
mobile devices, and three (3) operating modes (Normal, AVL or Gateway). These
expanded features make the iR1600 even more powerful while still maintaining
the same ruggedized, flexible and reliable application platform.

Features include an optional global-positioning
system (GPS) capability, allowing users to harness the power of location-based
services for fleet management and tracking applications. The modem also meets
military specifications for resistance to temperature, shock, vibration,
moisture, dust and electromagnetic radiation, ensuring consistent operations
even in unforgiving environments. Both iR1200 models offer mounting hardware
built for a no-hassle replacement of many CDPD modems.
